Holly McClure has over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry as a movie critic for The Orange County Register and TBN, a radio talk show host and a media personality who has appeared on numerous programs like FOX, CNN, MSNBC, Politically Incorrect, and many others for the last decade.
Holly expanded her interests in the entertainment industry by working as a filmographer, producer, and director of film and television specials. Her credits include; Hangman’s Curse, The Visitation, Thr3e, House and Midnight Clear.
In 2004, Mel Gibson asked Holly to serve as a consultant and filmographer for The Passion Of The Christ. Holly accompanied Gibson to Rome where she interviewed the cast and crew, then later directed and produced, The Making Of The Passion Of The Christ - a one hour special she negotiated for airing on PAX and TBN
Holly then worked as a consultant on One Night With The King as a producer and Executive Produced the television show Helpline, which aired on CBS during 2007 and Rise To Success which aired on Ion and TBN in 2008.
For years Holly has been involved with the faith-based and family-friendly entertainment community. She has served on the board of two influential organizations The Dove Foundation and Parents Television Council.
The Dove Foundation is an organization that promotes family-friendly entertainment with a positive approach of commending high-quality, wholesome movies. Their seal of approval provides an added value that can be seen on the front of movies placed in Wal-Mart, Target, etc.
The Parents Television Council is a non-partisan education organization advocating responsible entertainment. It was founded in 1995 to ensure that children are not constantly assaulted by sex, violence and profanity on television and in other media. Our national grassroots organization has more than 1.3 million members across the United States, and works with television producers, broadcasters, networks and sponsors in an effort to stem the flow of harmful and negative messages targeted to children.
